Dawanda, Etsy and co.

Finally, I am finding time to write about Dawanda, Etsy and co. Those are online platforms where crafters and artists sell handmade things. I have bought a few christmas presents via these platforms this year. By purchasing things there, you have the chance to give away a unique present! No mass-produced articles! And the self-made articles are often very reasonably priced. Additionally, they are created by people who made them with passion! Marika already wrote something in her blog about "Reasons to buy handmade", too.
Today, I just want to mention two nice people from Dawanda in place of all the other great artists and crafters there. For example, I bought this cute little toadstool pincushion which you can also use as a ring from the dawanda shop "bunt-und-schoen" (coloured and beautiful) a few weeks ago. In the shop you can find more cute pincushions.
I also bought this cool "Cthulhu" necklace for a friend and, as I liked it so much, for myself as well. Cthulhu is a creature that occurs in the books of H. P. Lovecraft. The seller glamasaurus packed up everything so kindly and sent so many other small items along with the Cthulhu necklace! It was more than worth the price. Endlich finde ich Zeit, etwas über Dawanda, Etsy und Co zu schreiben. Es handelt sich dabei um Online-Plattformen über die Kreative und Künstler ihre selbstgemachten Werke verkaufen. Dieses Jahr habe ich über diese Plattformen ein paar Weihnachtsgeschenke gekauft. In dem man dort etwas kauft, hat man die Chance etwas Einzigartiges zu verschenken! Keine Massenprodukte! Obendrein sind die selbstgemachten Kreationen oft noch sehr günstig. Außerdem wurden sie von Menschen gemacht, die ihre ganze Leidenschaft in das Produkt hineingesteckt haben. Heute möchte ich, stellvertretend für alle anderen Kreativen dort, 2 nette Menschen von Dawanda erwähnen. Beispielsweise kaufte ich vor ein paar Wochen dieses niedliche Fingernadelkissen , das man auch als Ring benutzen kann. Der Shop heißt "bunt-und-schoen". Dort gibt es noch weitere lustige Nadelkissen.
Ich kaufte auch diese coole "Cthulhu" Halskette für eine Freundin und, da mir die Kette so gut gefiel, ebenfalls eine für mich. Cthulhu ist eine Kreatur die in den Büchern von H. P. Lovecraft vorkommt. Die Verkäuferin glamasaurus packte alles so liebevoll ein und schickte noch so viele andere kleine Sachen mit! Und dies alles zu einem mehr als günstigen Preis.
